The reporting module has been built outside of the main architecture so that new reports can be added and batch processing run without disrupting business processing. Stargate control the physical environment with door locks, cameras, security passes for all staff and alarms.  Additional layers are employed such as smartcards, password authentications, 128 bit SSL encryption of data and multiple firewalls. To guarantee uninterrupted processing, a diesel generator and multiple ISPs are used. All system data is backed up daily and stored offsite by an external security firm.  Finally, Stargate maintains a complete and ready to use disaster recovery site in the unlikely case of major mishap.
